The dry season begins in mid-October and ends in June. April and May are the hottest months.

From October to February it is cooler in Cambodia 

The average temperature varies between 26°C and 32°C for a humidity rate of about 50%.

Rains are almost non-existent during almost four months. It will resume only in June.

The months of October to February are the most pleasant in terms of temperature.

The rains extend from June to mid-October. Nearly 80% of the rainfall received in a year falls during this period.

There is a big difference between the South and the North of Cambodia.

The rains are much heavier in the southern part.

In the north, the showers are very scattered. During the monsoon, it rains on average 1 per day at the end of the day.

It is not uncommon for there to be no rain on some days.

This incredible natural hydrological system is composed of a huge lake and a river that joins the Mekong at the capital Phnom Penh.

The Tonle Sap is a watercourse without source which evolves according to the seasons. 

During the dry season, the lake empties towards the south.

During the rainy season, the current reverses with the Mekong flood and fills the lake. The landscape is transformed with the rise of water.

A real lung of biodiversity, this place is recognized since 1997 by UNESCO as a natural reserve of biosphere.

Mondolkiri is also home to an elephant sanctuary.

In the dry season, the Cardamoms offer multiple activities ranging from trekking with the possibility of bivouacking in the jungle.

Many paths in the forest allow escapades in mountain bike or we cross some secret waterfalls.

On the western side of the Cardamomes, there is the Tatai River where ecotourism activities have been developing for several years.
